And the winner is...and some Halloween Inspiration

Throughout September I offered an ordering incentive as I was trying hard to achieve the Incentive Trip.

This was the prize.... a box of our markers.

So many people helped me throughout September - I had lots of orders at classes, people offered to hold parties, ladies ordered extra items, customers placed online orders...

This was the box of slips, one for every $10 ordered - my son helped me write them all out.

Angela, one of my team members drew out the winner.  Not looking!

Jenny H! (Nice fingernails Ang!)

Jenny is one of my long time customers.  It was so exciting to have her name drawn out!
Here she is happily accepting her prize.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped me get across the line.  This is not just ladies who ordered in September but all throughout the year!  I have achieved the trip:  a Mediterranean Cruise (!!!)

At our team meeting this month Jessica brought along these gorgeous boxes made by her mum, using the Curvy Keepsake Thinlits!  Just in time for Halloween.  I thought you might like to have a look.

And November class schedule is 'up'!

If you would like to book in please RSVP on the website or email me at or phone 07 55 765 469.

Happy Birthday!

Can I show you some cards?  My son had a birthday this past week and he was blessed with cards in the mail and in person.

This is the card I made for him.  I love the word dies that SU! comes out with.  They are so handy to add some oomph to a card.

When my son writes in a card for someone's birthday he always writes "Enjoy it while it lasts" so his cousin created this.  At the moment, it's all about the hair.  Wouldn't you like to be 14 again and only have to worry about your hair?  My nephew summed it up perfectly with his drawing.

And this card was drawn by Ella, another of his cousins.  I LOVE these minions!  And 'Cake time' is the perfect caption.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'd love it if you could leave a comment for Ellla for her minion creation!

Had to try this one

One of my customers pointed me in the direction of a YouTube video to make this card.  It was made by Jan B, a demonstrator in the UK.  You can view the video HERE.

It's a beautiful combination of glimmer paper, foils and embossing cut out on the Big Shot.

For this one I used the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

And for this one I used the Woodland Embossing Folder.

Don't forget that RSVPs for our Christmas Charity workshop are needed by the end of this week.  Ours is at Genesis Church, Carrara on Saturday November 7th, running from 10 till 4.

Don't leave it too late to get your Christmas cards organized!

Little Gifts

Long time, no post.  School holidays really throw me out of my routine, much as I love them.

It's so easy to put a little sparkle into someone's day with some cute wrapping ideas.

Our Stampin' Up! orders come packed with brown paper which makes great wrapping paper!  Stamp it, brayer it or leave it plain.

Here I have added some Farmers Market DSP, a doily and a stamped sentiment from Tin of Cards.  Love that Blackberry Bliss ink.

And here is another cute little idea - choccies from Aldi wrapped I some DSP.  I kept these ones simple but you could add ribbon, a punched shape or a stamped sentiment.

And yes, there were sixteen in the pack.  Can't for the life of me think where the 16th one went!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy HAPPY October

Happy October everyone!

Thanks to everyone who placed an order in September.  And thanks to everyone who placed an order before then!  You got me across the line!  I have achieved the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip!  I have never achieved this before and never thought it possible but thanks to all my lovely customers I have made it!  My reward is a one week cruise of the Mediterranean!  Wowsa!!!

So here's is something pretty to look at as a way of saying THANKS!

I made these for Anne who hosted a party for me.  She loves these Window Framelits and I loved this tag idea from Delys Cram.

Our corrugated cardboard adds lovely texture to this project.  I remember when I started making cards I had rolls of corrugated cardboard in different colours.

This was a simple card I demonstrated with the same Framelits using Night of Navy and our Silver Glimmer Paper...and the co-ordinating stamp set.
